INTENTION, 1. an intention is something that one wishes to do. He intends to do it; it’s an impulse toward something; it’s an idea that one is going to accomplish something. It’s intentional, which means he meant to do it. (SH Spec 83, 6612C06) 2. intention is the command factor as much as anything else. If you intend something to happen it happens if you intend it to happen. Verbalization is not the intention. The intention is the carrier wave which takes the verbalization along with it.
